CONTEST 2014: TWO CONTESTS, MORE PRIZES!

Salve a tutti e (ri)benvenuti al concorso Sexy & Chaotic e Enchanting 2014. Ho detto concorso, ma in realtà stiamo parlando di due concorsi distinti, uno per Myriam e uno per Jasmine. Il volume di quest'anno, infatti, sarà un flip book diviso in due e recherà quindi due diverse copertine. Per chi si fosse perso i concorsi degli anni precedenti e non avesse idea di che diavolo stiamo parlando, si tratta di realizzare la copertina per un volume dedicato a Myriam e Jasmine, le due protagoniste della serie "Agenzia Incantesimi".

LE REGOLE!

1) Il concorso è aperto a tutti. Anche se non siete iscritti a Deviant Art.

2) Potete partecipare a uno solo o a entrambi i concorsi con un numero di opere a vostra scelta.

3) Tutte le tecniche sono ammesse, anche le fotografie (se trovate le modelle adatte!).

4) Temi dei due concorsi. I temi sono stati scelti tramite un sondaggio e sono i seguenti:

TEMA DEL CONCORSO "SEXY & CHAOTIC": LE QUATTRO STAGIONI

TEMA DEL CONCORSO "ENCHANTING": I TAROCCHI

All'interno dei temi indicati, avete piena libertà di interpretazione. Non saranno però prese in considerazione opere dai contenuti pornografici o splatter. Nudo, erotismo e violenza non eccessiva sono invece consentiti.

5) Le opere in concorso dovranno avere una risoluzione MINIMA di 300 dpi, in formato tif, pdf o jpeg, e dovranno essere in proporzione con le dimensioni del volume, ovvero in formato A4 (cm. 21 di base per cm. 29,7 di altezza).

Chiunque partecipi al concorso acconsente implicitamente alla pubblicazione della propria opera all'interno del volume. Gli autori rimarranno proprietari delle loro opere, che potranno pubblicare sui loro siti.

6) Oltre ai vincitori, sul volume verrà pubblicata una selezione fra le altre illustrazioni pervenute. La scadenza per il concorso è il 10 Ottobre 2014, I vincitori verranno annunciati dopo una decina di giorni dal termine del concorso, mentre i premi consegnati o spediti a partire dalla fine dello stesso mese. ATTENZIONE: poiché il volume verrà pubblicato all'inizio del prossimo anno, le copie omaggio saranno spedite o consegnate appena pronte.

Veniamo subito al sodo:

1) PRIMO PREMIO PER IL CONCORSO "SEXY & CHAOTIC": 120€, la pubblicazione in copertina e una copia del volume.

2) PRIMO PREMIO PER IL CONCORSO "ENCHANTING": 120€, la pubblicazione in copertina e una copia del volume.

Oltre ai primi premi, verranno selezionate altre quattro opere in altrettante categorie. I vincitori in queste categorie, oltre a una copia del volume, avranno diritto anche a commissionare una disegno (un personaggio a loro scelta, bianco e nero senza sfondi complicati) agli autori sotto citati. In questo caso, saranno gli autori stessi a decretare il vincitore della categoria per la quale devono realizzare il disegno!

PREMIO PER L'AMBIENTAZIONE: 1 disegno con dedica di Riccardo Crosa + una copia del volume.

PREMIO FEDELTA' ALLA CARATTERIZZAZIONE DEL PERSONAGGIO: 1 disegno con dedica di Teresa Marzia + una copia del volume.

PREMIO AL VESTITO O COSTUME (anche inteso come costume da bagno): 1 disegno con dedica di Giacomo Pueroni + una copia del volume.

PREMIO AI COLORI: 1 disegno con dedica di Gianni Sedioli + una copia del volume

Hello everyone and welcome (again!) to the contest Enchanting and Sexy & Chaotic 2014. I said contest, but in reality we are talking about two separate contests, one for Myriam and one for Jasmine. The volume of this year will be a flip book with two different covers. For those who missed the previous years' contests and have no idea what the hell we are talking about, this is a contest for the cover for a book dedicated to Myriam and Jasmine, the two main characters of the series "Enchantment Agency."

RULES!

1 ) The contest is open to all. Even if you are not registered on Deviant Art

2) You may participate in either or both contests with a number of works of your choice.

3 ) All techniques are allowed, even photographs (if you find suitable models!).

4) There are specific themes for the contests:

THEME FOR THE CONTEST "SEXY & CHAOTIC": SEASONS.

THEME FOR THE CONTEST "ENCHANTING": TAROTS.

Inside the themes, you have full freedom of interpretation. However, will not be taken into consideration works containing pornographic or splatter.

5) The contests entries must have a MINIMUM resolution of 300dpi in tif, pdf or jpeg format, and must be in proportion with the size of the volume: cm. 21 wight x cm. 29,7 height. Everyone who participates in the contest implicitly consents to the publication of their works within the volume. The authors remain owners of their works, which will be published on their sites.

6) In addition to the winners, the volume will be published in a selection between other illustrations received. The deadline for the contest is October 10, 2014 while winners will be announced after ten days from the end of the contest and the prizes delivered or dispatched by the end of the same month. CAUTION: since the volume will be published at the beginning of next year, copies for the winners will not be shipped or delivered before that time. I know, it is logical, but it is always better to specify it!

The works will be unquestionably valued by the authors of the series: and myslef.

In addition, more winners will be selected in four categories. The winners in these categories, as well as a copy of the book, also will be entitled to commission a drawing (a character of their choice, black and white without complicated backgrounds) to the authors mentioned below. In these cases, the authors themselves will choose the winner of the category for which they will realize the art!

PRIZE TO THE ADHERENCE TO THE CHARACTER: 1 disegno con dedica di Teresa Marzia + una copia del volume.
